We are the Mbya Guarani ethnic group and with this site, we would like to show a little of our culture. We're still building this site ... soon we will have more information ...

 

The OPY - prayer house Taguato Arandu is located in Aldeia Indigena Guarani Mymba Roka in Sorocaba de Dentro, in the city of Biguacu, Santa Catarina, Brasil. Approximately 50 minutes from the center of the city of Florianopolis (by car).

In our culture, we have rituals that are part of our life. And every month, we held an open ceremony for those who want to know and learn a little about the Guarani culture.

In this ceremony, with the sacred medicines, that brings teaching and wisdom, especially Petyn - tobacco and Ygua Pua - Ayahuasca, Around the Sacred Fire, the sacred songs are sung and danced to Nhanderu, Nhandetchy, Divine Father / Mother, praying for us and for all humanity.

Through OPY, which is our school / university, we have the opportunity to keep alive our tradition and teach our children.

 

We also offer group retreat on Guarani Tradicional Culture and Ayahuasca retreat on the forest. For groups (min 8 person. Please ask for available dates).
